About Me

Welcome. I'm Richard Renzi.

After twenty years as a middle school teacher, a lifetime in sports and coaching, and earning a Master's in Physical Education, I found my way to yin yoga.

Today, I work primarily with men who want greater flexibility, mobility, recovery, and connection to their bodies. As a man who is 6'3 and formerly 300lbs, I'm passionate about making everyone feel that yoga is available to them, especially people who may not feel like the typical yoga spaces are designed for them. As a teacher who spent years on my feet all day, and a former athlete, I understand how easy it is to spend years focused on strength, performance, and pushing through discomfort while neglecting recovery, flexibility, and long-term well-being.

I believe strength and flexibility belong together. My work is shaped by years in sports, education, and a belief that taking care of ourselves helps us take better care of the people around us.

Through yin yoga, I help people feel better in their bodies, move more freely, recover more fully, and age with greater flexibility and strength.

Whether you want to be able to play on the floor with your kids (and get back up!), training for your next performance or simply looking for a different relationship with your body, you're welcome here.
